Shippers’ Council Boss Visits North East Zonal Directorate

The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC),Dr. Pius Akutah, MON,led a team from the Council on a familiarization visit to the North East Zonal Directorate, Bauchi.
The purpose of the visit was to promote regional integration in shipping activities and support exportation, which aligns with the current administration’s goal of enhancing the nation’s resources through the blue economy.
During the visit, the Council boss held an interactive meeting with stakeholders, aimed at advancing shipping activities in the region.
He also toured the Inland Dry Ports project site in Bauchi, an initiative by the Bauchi State Government designed to attract both import and export activities to the area.
