Leadway Assurance Blames Gtbank For Delayed Annuity Payment

Leadway Assurance has blamed delay in the payment of September 2024 annuity on transaction challenges at Gtbank.
Some Gtbank account holders are yet to receive their payments for the Month of September 2024.
Leadway Assurance in a notice sent to annuitants explained:
“Dear Valued Annuitant,
We are aware of the delay you are currently experiencing due to the system migration being carried out by GTbank. “Rest assured that your payments were processed on the 11th of October 2024.
“We regret the inconvenience caused by this exercise and we implore you to exercise patience while GT Bank completes the migration process. Thank you for your understanding”.
An annuity is an income purchased from a life insurance company, which provides monthly or quarterly income to a retiree (annuitant).
