The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has approved the appointment of Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Tajudeen Lasun Bamigbayan as the new Principal Staff Officer (PSO) at the National Headquarters of the Corps.
ACM Bamigbayan takes over from Deputy Corps Marshal Meshack Jatau, who has proceeded on statutory retirement after a distinguished and meritorious career in service to the nation.
A statement explained that the appointment of ACM Bamigbayan is a strategic decision anchored on competence, integrity, institutional memory and a proven track record of performance. Widely regarded as a cerebral officer with an uncommon blend of academic brilliance, operational depth and management excellence, he brings to the office of the PSO nearly three decades of progressive service and transformational leadership within the FRSC.
Born on December 3, 1969, in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State, ACM Bamigbayan was enlisted into the Corps in 1996 as an Assistant Route Commander.
Since then, he has served in several critical commands and departments across the country, including Kano, Taraba, Adamawa, Borno and Anambra states, as well as at the National Headquarters. His career has been marked by outstanding contributions in administration, operations, training, public enlightenment and strategic planning.
